1960s chic fuzzy knit suit

$650.00

This is one of my favorite 1960s suits ever! This piece is incredibly chic. It is made from a fuzzy knit. I had both the jacket and skirt professionally relined. I saw a lot of potential in this piece and knew it was worth having restored because it is so unique! The jacket has hidden mother of pearl buttons down the front and buttons at the neckline. The skirt has a side zipper. The jacket has a bit of a blousy look to it. The waistline of the jacket has flexibility because you can chinch the waistline with the ribbon. Over all very good condition. Minor wear to buttons at the neckline, very slight variation of color on the side of the collar. The grosgrain ribbon at the waistline shows discoloration and can be swapped out if you desire. This is probably best for a small. My dress form is an extra small for reference.

This came from a wealthy New England estate. The original owner was a therapist and her former husband was a screen writer of some iconic movies from the 1960s.
