1960s Italian Couture Sorelle Fontana ensemble
This is a an incredible 1960s matching ensemble by Sorelle Fontana. An export made in Italy. This wonderful example of Italian fashion is made from a complex tapestry fabric There’s even gold lamé woven into the tapestry. Designed with an Asian theme. This dress and coat are fully lined. The ensemble is completely hand finished. The jacket has self covered buttons in matching fabric. The dress zips up the back. This set is in overall very good condition but has some age related wear to the lining of the dress. There is a lighter spot on the bodice shown in the last photo. You are going to have to search to find it. It literally blends in with the print. I have had this set professionally dry cleaned. The hem has been taken up and can be let down if desired.
