1950s dreamy Elizabeth Arden rose party dress
This is an exquisite creation made from a rose print flocked satin. It was originally sold at Elizabeth Arden New York. Very likely designed by Count Ferdinando Sarmi, from Italy. He worked at Elizabeth Arden from 1951 until 1959. This dress is trimmed in velvet ribbon. The structured bodice has fully built in boning. This incredible piece is fully lined. The full skirt is lined in silk organza with a very large hem. It has two hand set metal zippers, one for the bodice and one for the skirt! There is a built in tulle crinoline. This designer beauty is in excellent condition, some light wear to the velvet ribbons.
